KnowHowNonProfit Collaboration

KnowHow NonProfit offers nfp-Resourcing candidates the chance to get ahead!

Nfp-Resourcing has added a new page to its website; 'Get ahead with KnowHow!' www.knowhownonprofit.org is a website built exclusively for the non-profit sector and caters for any level of experience. If you are looking for your next position, this is the perfect way to keep up to date, sharpen your knowledge and demonstrate your potential to employers.

If you are new to the sector the site gives an essential introduction to the non-profit world, whilst also providing a means to demonstrate your transferable skills. For those who already have experience, KnowHow will help you keep up to speed with events, as well as enabling you to interact with other professionals.

If you are regularly contributing on the discussion boards you will receive an accreditation from KnowHow NonProfit which will enhance your CV and heighten your profile within the sector.

Entirely free and easy to use, KnowHow was set up to provide the means for professionals in the sector to share their skills and overcome any challenges they may encounter. It has been built out of Cass Department for Charity Effectiveness using a Big Lottery Basis grant. KnowHow NonProfit was officially launched in April 2009 and has now exceeded its projected visitor targets several times over.

So click on the 'Get ahead with knowhow' tab on the menu down the side of this page and join the community. You'll also find podcasts to listen to, a whole calendar of events, conferences, seminars and training courses and even their own fortnightly 'Millcaster tales;' where the real life trials and tribulations of working in nonprofit organisations are brought to life.
